Important Dates
April 1-5: Advising Week for Fall Semester
April 2: NOVAConnect priority registration for continuing students begins for Fall
May 1: Open registration for all students begins for Fall
July 29: Tuition payment deadline if you register by July 28
NOTE: If you register July 29 or after, you must pay your tuition before 5:00 p.m. the next business day. It is your responsibility to officially drop a course or courses before the applicable census date for the course(s) or you will be charged for the course(s).
August 6: Last day to add your name to the Wait List for all classes for First 8-week Session and 16-week Session
September 2: Labor Day holiday for students, faculty, and staff. College offices closed.
October 1: Last day to apply for Fall graduation
October 3: Last day to add your name to the Wait List for Second 8-week Session
October 14-15: Non-instructional days. College offices open.
November 27: Non-instructional day. No classes. College closes at noon.
November 28-December 1: Thanksgiving holiday. College closed.
16-Week Session
August 19: Classes begin
September 5: Last day to drop with a tuition refund or change to audit (census date)
October 29: Last day to withdraw without grade penalty
December 3-9: Last week of classes
December 9-16: Final exam week
December 16: Final exams end
First 8-Week Session
August 19: Classes begin
August 27: Last day to drop with a tuition refund or change to audit (census date)
September 21: Last day to withdraw without grade penalty
