Purpose: This curriculum is designed for students who plan to transfer to a college or university for a BS or B.A. degree in psychology.

Transfer Information: Since four-year colleges and universities vary in their course and GPA requirements, students are advised to work closely with their faculty advisors and counseling staff to choose classes.  Electives should be chosen carefully to meet the requirements of transfer institutions. The responsibility for proper course selections rests with the student.  The program is designed to transfer especially well to George Mason University.

Electives should be selected with advice of a counselor or academic advisor to meet requirements of the transfer institution.

1 HIS 101  HIS 102  or HIS 112  are recommended. Select any HIS courses listed under social/behavioral sciences in General Education Electives .

2 MTH 155  is not available for credit since MTH 245  is a required course for this degree program, as credit will not be awarded for both courses. Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 261  and MTH 263 , or for both MTH 262  and MTH 264 

CST 100  CST 126  or CST 229   may be substituted.

4 See humanities/fine arts courses listed under General Education Electives .

5 Choose any 200-level psychology course to fulfill this requirement. 

6 Choose from the courses listed as approved 200-level literature courses.
