ESL 22 - Reading and Vocabulary (5 CR.)

Prerequisite(s): ESL Placement Test recommendation for ESL Provides instruction in writing at the low-intermediate level. Provides instruction and practice in reading and vocabulary development at the low-intermediate level. Improves students’ reading fluency, proficiency, and vocabulary to enable them to function adequately in ESL Level 3 and prepare for college-level reading. Credits are not applicable toward graduation. Lecture 5 hours per week.
