SPA 102 - Beginning Spanish II (4 CR.)

Prerequisite(s): SPA 101, or two years of successful completion of high school Spanish or demonstrated experiential learning. NOVA requires all students of higher education or who have previous knowledge of Spanish to take the placement test. We recommend that students who have not taken SPA 101 within the last year also take the placement test.

Students must be proficient in the present tense, the present progressive, object pronouns, and subject/verb/adjective agreement. Introduces cultural awareness, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills and emphasizes basic Spanish sentence structure. Classes may be conducted in target language. Part II of II. This is a UCGS transfer course. Lecture 4 hours per week.
