HIS 281 - History of Virginia I (3 CR.) Explores the cultural, economic, political, and religious history of Virginia from pre-contact to the present. Includes diverse perspectives to emphasize the significant contributions different groups of people (African Americans, Indigenous Peoples, European-Americans, Women) made to the history of Virginia, the colonies, and the United States. Lecture 3 hours per week.
