VET 132 - Clinical Pathology II (3 CR.)

Surveys techniques used in the veterinary hospital laboratory. Includes hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, cytology, immunology, clinical chemistry, serology, and necropsy. Emphasizes the use of microscope, automated laboratory equipment, and modern diagnostic procedures. Part II of II. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): VET 131. Enrollment is limited to those students program-placed in the veterinary technology curriculum or those students with special approval from the program head.
