MTH 245 - Statistics I (3 CR.)

Presents an overview of statistics, including descriptive statistics, elementary probability, probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, and linear regression. Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 155: Statistical Reasoning and MTH 245: Statistics I or equivalent. Part I of a two semester sequence. This is a Passport and UCGS Transfer course. Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of MTH 154, MTH 161 or equivalent with a grade of C or better.
