MDL 260 - Laboratory Instrumentation I(2 CR.)

Teaches the theory, principles of operation, methodologies, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the more common instrumentation used in the clinical laboratory. Lecture 2 hoursLaboratory 1 hour.Total 3 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): for Medical Laboratory students: MDL 101, MDL 125, MDL 140, and MDL 215 with a grade of “C” or better.

for Medical Laboratory Assistant students: MDL 100 , MDL 105 , MDL 106 , MDL 140 with a grade of “C” or better.Corequisite(s): for Medical Laboratory students: MDL 225 and MDL 263 .
