MTH 245 - Statistics I(3 CR.)

Presents an overview of statistics, including descriptive statistics, elementary probability, probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, and linear regression. Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 155: Statistical Reasoning and MTH 245: Statistics I or equivalent. Part I of a two semester sequence. This is a Passport Transfer Course. Lecture 3 hours.Total 3 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of MTH 154, MTH 161 or equivalent with a grade of C or better.
