CPL: Section 10-Credit earned from Professional Training and Online Courses

General Information

NOVA can help you accelerate your progress towards degree completion by awarding you college credit for completed professional training programs. Such programs may include courses offered through the workplace (e.g., corporations, government agencies, professional associations, or unions) or through specialized training programs that have been evaluated and approved for college credit by NOVA faculty and the Credit for Prior Learning Committee. When occupational training, certifications, or other online courses have been previously evaluated by NOVA-approved sources such as the American Council on Education (ACE) or the National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS), NOVA faculty recommendations for college credit may be based on the recommendations of these sources. Reviews of these services for applicable training programs and courses are updated annually with the new Credit for Prior Learning Manual. All approved vendors are listed below.
